The EU Settlement Scheme: a guide

While we may not know exactly what’s happening with Brexit right now, we do know that freedom of movement is going to come to an end.

The government is introducing an EU Settlement Scheme that allows EU citizens who have been resident in the UK for five years or longer to apply for settled or pre-settled status in the UK following the UK’s exit from the EU.

While employers cannot apply for settled status on behalf of their employees, you can communicate the key deadlines within the application process for any EU nationals you have working for you.
