Following a surge in COVID-19 cases, Nicola Sturgeon announced a new fourth tier in the series of further, stricter restrictions across Scotland.
From 20 November the government has ordered certain businesses and venues to close their doors – such as non-essential retail, leisure facilities, entertainment venues and personal care facilities. Those who can work from home are encouraged to do so (although there are exceptions to this, including construction and manufacturing) and the furlough scheme is being extended.
These new measures have brought Scotland closer to the strict lockdown we saw in spring than ever before. But as a business, were you prepared to close for a second time?
In this guide, our Health & Safety experts have taken everything we’ve learned working with our clients from the first lockdown and created a checklist of points that will help you through the next few weeks and beyond.
