First Aid At Work

Course Aims & Objectives

This one-day course will provide theoretical and practical training in basic lifesaving first aid. At the end of the course, delegates will be trained to act as an Emergency First Aider in their workplace.

Course Content

• Managing an incident
• The priorities of first aid
• Resuscitation / CPR
• Choking
• Bleeding
• Common workplace injuries
• Recording incidents and First Aid actions

Assessment

On-going assessment of understanding throughout the training, and evidence of safe and effective first aid treatment.
